I'm Christopher — and I've wanted to fly since I was a small boy. While other kids were playing games, I was logging hours in flight simulators, dreaming about the day I'd be in an actual cockpit. Life took its time getting me there. But I'm actively working on my pilot's license now, and that dream is finally becoming real.
In the meantime, I built a life around travel. As a full-time digital nomad and sales leader in tech, I've spent years moving through cities, airports, and places most people only see from 35,000 feet. And somewhere along the way, I kept seeing the same thing — stunning photos of airport-adjacent homes, airpark communities, and fly-in stays on social media. Places that looked incredible. Places with no clear way to actually book them.
That gap — combined with a lifelong dream of building something of my own — is what became Runway Retreats. Not a side project. Not a directory. A real platform built specifically for the GA community, by someone who grew up dreaming about this world and is finally living in it.
